• Group & Cruise Data: Cruise details, port information, cabin/party assignments, and group membership
• Planning Data: Packing lists, daily activities, attractions, dining preferences, and notes
• Social Data: Trivia game responses, drink tracker entries, activity votes, and group comments
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version (for crash reporting and performance)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate you and secure your account
• Enable group collaboration (allowing family members to see shared plans, activities, and social features)
• Generate personalized suggestions via our AI Guru feature
• Organize and store your packing lists, itineraries, and activities
• Track engagement and improve app performance
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore. All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols. Your password is not stored — authentication is handled by Apple or Google's secure services.

We implement industry-standard security practices, including:

• Firestore security rules to restrict access
• No third-party access to your personal data

5. Monetization & Data Sharing

Current Approach: We do not currently run ads, sell data, or share your information with third parties.

Future Monetization: If we introduce ads, partnerships, or revenue-sharing models, we commit to the following distinctions:

Personal Data (Never Sold)

• Your name, email address, and account details will NEVER be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit written consent
• If our data practices change significantly, we will notify you in advance and explain your options

Aggregate & Anonymized Data (May Be Shared)

We may analyze and share anonymized insights with travel partners, cruise lines, or travel brands, such as:

• "Most common packing items by cruise length"
• "Popular destinations by season"
• "Peak booking and planning times for families"
• Aggregate trends about travel preferences

This data cannot identify you personally and helps cruise lines, travel brands, and our partners improve their services.

Your Control

• You can opt out of non-essential analytics and data collection beyond what's necessary for the app to function

7. Group Collaboration & Data Visibility

Yalla Cruise is designed for group planning. When you join a group:

• Other group members can see your name, profile, and collaborative data (packing items, activities you've added, comments, and game responses)
• You can mark items as "personal" or "family/group" to control visibility
• Group admins can manage members and group settings

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

• Your personal information (name, email) is deleted immediately
• Your collaborative data (packing items, activities, comments) may remain in group records for reference, but is no longer associated with your identity
• You can request complete deletion by contacting us

9. Children's Privacy

Yalla Cruise is intended for family use. Parents and guardians are responsible for the privacy of children using the app. We collect minimal data from minors and only as necessary for group collaboration.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential data collection
• Request a data export

8. שמירת נתונים ומחיקה

הנתונים שלכם נשמרים כל עוד חשבונכם פעיל. כאשר אתם מוחקים את חשבונכם:

• המידע האישי שלכם (שם, אימייל) נמחק מיידית
• נתוני שיתוף הפעולה שלכם עשויים להישאר ברשומות הקבוצה לצורך עיון, אך אינם משויכים יותר לזהותכם
• באפשרותכם לבקש מחיקה מוחלטת על ידי פנייה אלינו

9. פרטיות ילדים

Yalla Cruise מיועד לשימוש משפחתי. ההורים והאפוטרופוסים אחראים לפרטיות הילדים המשתמשים באפליקציה. אנו אוספים מינימום נתונים מקטינים ורק בהיקף הנחוץ לשיתוף פעולה קבוצתי.
